Lendlord puts deal analysis, valuations and finance beside portfolio management, with Making Tax Digital on its Premium plans. Its rent collection is tracking and reminders rather than collecting the payment, and Section 8 notices are not listed on its UK pricing page. Below are six alternatives and LetCompliance, each with its own published prices and records. LetCompliance publishes this page and lists itself first; the others follow A to Z.
The main alternatives to Lendlord for UK landlords in 2026 are LetCompliance, Alphaletz, August, Hammock, Landlord Studio, Landlord Vision and PaTMa. LetCompliance, which publishes this page, is listed first: it runs the whole let, from the advert to Making Tax Digital, from £7.99 a month.

The alternatives
The alternatives to Lendlord, with their records
LetCompliance first, as the publisher’s own software, then the others A to Z. Each one is described from its own site, with its cost a month at 1, 5 and 10 properties, its listing on HMRC’s Making Tax Digital finder and its company on Companies House.
01
LetCompliance
Listed first: the publisher’s own software
Landlord software that runs the whole let, from the advert to Making Tax Digital.
Plans are one price for each size of portfolio, never a charge per property, a month: £7.99 for 1 property, £14.99 for up to 3, £19 for up to 10, £29 for up to 20 and £49 for any number. No VAT is added. Every new landlord account starts with a 3-day trial and no card.
Why it is first
LetCompliance publishes this page and lists itself first, as its own product. That is the publisher’s view, not a neutral test: every other product is described from its own site, with the date it was read, and they follow A to Z.
For a landlord who has bought and now runs the lets, LetCompliance runs them day to day: the advert and referencing, the tenancy signed online, rent collected by Direct Debit rather than tracked, repairs, Section 8 and Section 13 notices, and Making Tax Digital for UK property income, with HMRC’s finder listing its tax return “Ready now”.
What it runs
Lettings in one place: adverts, applications and viewings, and a credit-backed reference ordered from the tenancy for £24.99, or £19.99 for a guarantor.
The tenancy agreement built for the rules since 1 May 2026 and signed online, with the move-in pack and the deposit’s Prescribed Information.
Rent collected by Direct Debit into your own Stripe account, on paid plans and the trial. No commission is taken on the rent. Stripe charges 1% of each Direct Debit payment with a 20p minimum and a £4 cap, and £5 for a disputed payment.
Repairs reported by tenants through a portal with no app and no password, each on a response clock, with inspections, and inventories on paid plans and the trial.
Section 8 and Section 13 notices on Forms 3A and 4A, and the possession tracker, on every paid plan.
Making Tax Digital quarterly updates for UK property income sent to HMRC, with the SA105 tax pack, on every paid plan.
Certificates tracked with reminders, and a 0 to 100 score for each property.
What it does not do
It has no Open Banking bank feed: bank statements are uploaded as a CSV and matched line by line.
It has no Rightmove, Zoopla or OnTheMarket feed: adverts are public on its own to-let pages or by link, with the text and photos ready to post elsewhere.
It has no App Store or Google Play app: it runs in the phone’s browser.
Its Making Tax Digital covers UK property income only, for the landlord’s own return, on paid plans, not the free plan or the trial.
It does not source deals or arrange mortgages or bridging finance.

HMRC’s Making Tax Digital finder
“Lendlord”, product 3497: paid version, for individuals only, UK property income. In the finder’s results for UK property income: quarterly updates “Ready now”; tax return “In development”.
Company (Companies House)
LENDLORD LIMITED, company number 11973095: “Active”, incorporated 1 May 2019.
There is no automatic transfer from Lendlord: the move is a spreadsheet and your own files, and the steps below take it in order. The tenancies themselves carry on as they are.
Take your records out of Lendlord. Before you leave Lendlord, save what it holds to your own computer: the tenancy details, rent records, certificates and signed documents. Ask Lendlord, or check its help pages, for how to export, and keep the files with your records.
Bring the portfolio in from one spreadsheet. Open Properties, choose Import and upload a spreadsheet saved as CSV: one row per tenant, or per room for an HMO, with the address, town and postcode. Rent, deposit, certificate, licence, insurance and mortgage details come in if the sheet has them. Columns it does not recognise are listed back to you by name, and importing the same sheet again updates what is there instead of adding it twice. The import guide lists every column.
Add the certificates and documents. Drop the certificate files in as a batch and the dates are read from each one, for you to check. Upload signed agreements and other documents to each property.
Move the rent to Direct Debit. Connect your own Stripe account and invite every tenant not yet asked to pay by Direct Debit, 20 at a time; each tenant authorises the mandate. No commission is taken on the rent. Stripe charges 1% of each Direct Debit payment with a 20p minimum and a £4 cap, and £5 for a disputed payment.
Carry on Making Tax Digital mid-year. Each quarterly update covers the tax year so far, so bring the year in before your first update from LetCompliance: this tax year’s bank statements as CSV, each line matched or recorded once you confirm it. LetCompliance checks HMRC for quarters already sent through other software, and GOV.UK says a landlord cannot use more than one software product to send quarterly updates of property income. Switching software mid-year sets out what the new product has to do. Making Tax Digital is on every paid plan, not the free plan or the trial.
Send your tenants their portal links. Send portal links to every tenant without one, 20 at a click. Each tenant gets a link of their own, with no app and no password, for rent, repairs, messages and documents. The tenancy itself carries on as it is.
What comes across
Properties, HMO rooms and tenants, from one CSV.
Tenancy dates, the rent and how often it is due, and the deposit details.
Certificate, licence, insurance and mortgage dates.
Certificates, signed agreements and other documents, uploaded to each property.
This tax year’s money, from bank statements saved as CSV, on paid plans and the trial.
What stays with Lendlord
Its deal analysis and finance applications: LetCompliance does not source deals or arrange finance.
Past rent payments: the import takes the current rent, not a ledger of past payments, so keep Lendlord’s export with your records.
Anything automatic: there is no transfer from Lendlord to LetCompliance, only your spreadsheet and your files.
Prices: each provider’s own pricing page, read on 24 October 2026 between 16:06 and 16:20 UK time, for the round-ups on this site. The cost at 1, 5 and 10 properties is worked out from the published price and the charge for each extra unit, tenancy or lease, counting one property as one of each, with VAT as each page states it.
Making Tax Digital: HMRC’s software finder, the official list, read the same day. The quarterly update and tax return statuses are HMRC’s own labels in its results for UK property income; a product not on the finder is marked “Not listed”.
Company: Companies House, the official UK register, for the company each provider names on its own pages, by name and number.
What each product does: its own website, pricing and help pages, read on the date given under each entry for the comparisons and round-ups on this site. Only what its own pages say is written here; nothing was bought or tried, so this is a desk comparison, not a hands-on trial.
LetCompliance publishes these pages and lists itself first. Its prices come from its own plan list and its listing from the same HMRC finder.
The others follow A to Z, each with its price at 1, 5 and 10 properties as its own pricing page gave it on 24 October 2026.
Can I move from Lendlord to LetCompliance?
Yes. Save what Lendlord holds to your own computer first: the tenancy details, rent records, certificates and signed documents. Bring the properties and tenants into LetCompliance from one spreadsheet, with each property’s value, mortgage balance and ownership share if you have them, upload the certificates in a batch, and import this tax year’s bank statements before your first Making Tax Digital update.
Does LetCompliance arrange mortgages or bridging finance?
No. LetCompliance does not source deals or arrange mortgages or bridging finance. It runs the let once the property is bought, and keeps the value, mortgage balance and loan to value of each property you own, on paid plans and the trial.
What do the alternatives to Lendlord cost for five properties?
As each pricing page gave it on 24 October 2026, a month: LetCompliance: £19 (Portfolio, up to 10); Alphaletz: Pro £14 +tax, or £11 +tax billed annually; August: Growth £8.99, or £89.99 a year; Hammock: Standard £15 +VAT, or £144 +VAT a year; Landlord Studio: Pro £17.40 +VAT, or £14 +VAT billed yearly; Landlord Vision: Standard £29.97 +VAT billed yearly, or £34.97 +VAT monthly; PaTMa: Pro £15. Lendlord itself: Premium £12, or £99 a year. The plan, the VAT and any extra charge behind each figure are under its entry.
Which alternatives to Lendlord are on HMRC’s Making Tax Digital list?
LetCompliance publishes this page and lists itself first, as its own product. That is the publisher’s view, not a neutral test: every other product is described from its own site, with the date it was read, and they follow A to Z.
Editorial discipline
LetCompliance publishes this page and lists itself first, as its own product. Bring a let across
Bring your Lendlord portfolio across in one spreadsheet
From £7.99 a month for one property. Properties, rooms, tenants, rents and certificate dates come in from one CSV, and the let runs in one place from there: the advert and the applicants, the tenancy and its signatures, the rent and the arrears, the repairs, the notices and the tax figures.
