Why we exist
Private landlords juggle Gas Safety, electrical reports, EPCs, deposits, Right to Rent and more, each with different dates and serious penalties if something slips. Spreadsheets and calendar notes get harder to keep on top of as a portfolio grows. LetCompliance exists to give you one clear portfolio view and proactive reminders so you are not caught out.
Who we serve
UK letting agents, property managers and private landlords in England & Wales, from one flat to branch-scale portfolios. The same compliance risks apply: expired Gas Safety and EICR, deposit paperwork, Right to Rent follow-ups and invalid notices. Our product follows how UK tenancies and regulation actually work, not generic US “property management”.
What we are (and are not)
LetCompliance is software: tracking, scores, uploads, templates and workflows. We are not a law firm, letting agent or insurer. Nothing on our site or in the app replaces professional legal, tax or safety advice. We point to official sources (e.g. GOV.UK) where it matters, you stay responsible for meeting your obligations.
Trust & data
We take UK GDPR seriously. We only process what we need to run the service, use modern encryption and row-level security so your portfolio data stays yours. Read our Privacy Policy for detail. If something is unclear, contact us, we prefer plain English over legalese.
How we write about UK law
All compliance guides on LetCompliance are written and reviewed by our UK property compliance team. We cite primary sources — GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk and statutory instruments — and flag where rules are proposed but not yet in force.
Our content covers YMYL topics: fines, legal obligations and possession procedures. Every fine amount, deadline and legal reference is checked against official sources before publication.
