Accessibility statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.1 AA, what we do, where we are still improving, and how to report a barrier.
Last updated:
1. Our Commitment
LetCompliance is committed to making our software usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the standard expected of UK online services. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: we test and improve as we add features.
2. What We Do
- Build on semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive technology can navigate the interface.
- Provide text labels for form fields and accessible names for icon-only controls.
- Support keyboard navigation, with visible focus on interactive elements.
- Aim for sufficient colour contrast for text and important UI in both light and dark themes.
- Respect the "reduce motion" setting for animations.
- Use responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels.
3. Known Limitations
We are honest about where we are still improving. Some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, for example certain complex interactive components, third-party embeds, or older content. We are actively reviewing and fixing these. If something blocks you, please tell us (see below) and we will prioritise it.
4. Compatibility
LetCompliance is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) and common assistive technologies. Using the latest version of your browser and assistive technology gives the best experience.
5. Reporting an Accessibility Barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on LetCompliance, please email letcomplianceuk@gmail.com with "ACCESSIBILITY" in the subject line, describing the page and the problem. We will acknowledge your message and aim to respond within 5 working days. Your feedback helps us improve for everyone.
