The detail is the product
A notice with the wrong date is not a typo here, it is a landlord losing a possession hearing. Much of the work is reading the legislation, checking what it actually says, and making the software say the same thing.
Ownership from end to end
Work is taken from the first question to the thing a customer can use, including the parts nobody enjoys. Anyone who needs a brief handed to them and a queue to pass it back into will find this uncomfortable.
Customers are landlords, not users
They are running real tenancies with real money in them, and most of them alongside another job. Their patience for a clever interface is short and their memory for being let down is long.
Evidence over opinion
Legal claims are cited to the legislation, product claims are checked against the code, and figures come from the source that publishes them. A confident guess that reaches a customer is treated as a defect.
What happens to your application
It is read, not filtered by software, and it stays on file for twelve months. There is no interview process to enter and no date to wait for, because there is no vacancy to fill yet. When one opens, this list is where it starts. Ask at any time and everything you sent is deleted the same day.
