Landlord services guide

Landlord forums, podcasts and newsletters: where landlords ask and read

Where UK landlords ask, listen and read: four forums, three podcasts and the news sites, each with what it costs and who runs it, as its own pages showed on 24 October 2026; then GOV.UK’s own email alerts, the official source. Listed A to Z, not ranked and not recommended. LetCompliance, the software that runs the let and answers questions about your own one, is set out first and is none of them.

LetCompliance, the publisher’s own software

Runs the let beside every firm here

Landlord software for the whole let: adverts and applications, the tenancy and its signatures, rent and Direct Debit, arrears and the Section 8 notice, repairs, deposits, certificates and Making Tax Digital for UK property income.

From £7.99 a month for one property.

The short answer

UK landlords ask on Property Tribes, the LandlordZONE forum, the MoneySavingExpert board and Landlord Law’s members’ forum; listen to the NRLA’s Listen Up Landlords, the LandlordZONE podcast and The Property Podcast; and get rule changes from GOV.UK’s own email alerts, all as read on 24 October 2026. A forum answers the general question. LetCompliance runs the let and answers about your own one, with an AI advisor and a landlords’ question board inside the account. From £7.99 a month for one property.

LetCompliance, the publisher’s own software

What LetCompliance does beside the forums

A forum answers the general question. LetCompliance runs the let and answers about your own one: your tenancies, your rent, your notices and your figures, inside the account.

  • Questions about your own let, answered in the account

The AI advisor answers about your own properties, tenancies and figures, and about the rules, from your records and the app’s own guides. No monthly limit on a paid plan or the trial. It is not legal advice.

    On every plan

  • A question board for landlords

Ask other landlords using LetCompliance from the help panel. Questions and answers stay on the board, under a nickname or an anonymous handle.

    On every plan

  • The help centre and the blog

Guides to each part of the let in the help centre, and the blog, with an RSS feed at /rss.xml for any feed reader.

    On every plan

  • The dates that matter, sent to you

Making Tax Digital deadline reminders each quarter and before the April 2027 threshold, and certificate reminders at 90, 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before each one runs out.

    On every plan

What it does not do. LetCompliance is not a forum, a podcast or a news service, and its advisor and question board are not legal advice.

LetCompliance publishes this guide and is landlord software. It is not one of the firms compared below and is not ranked against them.

Plans are one price for each size of portfolio, never a charge per property, a month: £7.99 for 1 property, £14.99 for up to 3, £19 for up to 10, £29 for up to 20 and £49 for any number. Every new landlord account starts with a 3-day trial and no card.

Before you choose

What to check

Whose view it is

A forum reply is one landlord’s view and a podcast is its host’s. Check anything you act on against GOV.UK or the legislation itself.

Who pays for it

Several sources here are run or sponsored by firms that sell insurance, legal services, consultancy or property deals. Read the sponsor line and the about page.

Which nation

Housing law differs in England, Wales and Scotland. Check that a thread or an episode is about the nation your property is in.

How old it is

The Renters’ Rights Act changed tenancies in England, and an older thread may describe rules that no longer apply. Check the date before you rely on it.

Before you rely on this page

This page is not legal or financial advice, and it recommends no source. It sets out what each one says about itself, read on one day.

Several sources here belong to, or are sponsored by, firms that sell insurance, legal services, consultancy or property investment; this page lists their forum, news or podcast only. No link on this page earns LetCompliance a fee.

Method

How this page was put together

  • Fees: each firm’s own pages, read on 24 October 2026, without making an account or asking for a quote. Pages that draw their prices in the browser were read in one. Every fee is given as the page gave it, with VAT as the page states it, and a fee a page does not publish is marked as not published.
  • Registers: the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and the Financial Conduct Authority registers where a firm is regulated, Companies House for the company behind each firm, and Companies House’s published list of authorised agents (dated 21 October 2026), all read the same day. Where a firm’s pages give no company number, the company found on the register under the name it gives or trades as is shown, and the cell says so.
  • Not ranked: the firms are listed A to Z. Nothing was bought or tried; this is a desk comparison of published pages and public registers. Any link that pays LetCompliance a fee is marked Sponsored; the links here go to the pages that were read.
  • LetCompliance publishes this guide and makes landlord software. It is set out first because it is the publisher’s own product, and it is not compared with the firms.

FAQs

Questions landlords ask

Where do UK landlords ask questions online?

On the forums read on 24 October 2026: Property Tribes, the LandlordZONE forum, the MoneySavingExpert board for house buying, renting and selling, and Landlord Law’s members’ forum, where a solicitor answers members’ questions, normally within 24 hours, as its page says. A reply is another landlord’s view; check it against GOV.UK before you act on it.

Are there podcasts for UK landlords?

Yes: the NRLA’s Listen Up Landlords, the LandlordZONE podcast, sponsored by Total Landlord, and The Property Podcast from Property Hub’s co-founders, with new episodes every Tuesday and Thursday.

How do I hear about changes to landlord law?

From the source: GOV.UK’s Changes to private renting page has a Get emails for this topic link that sends each new guide and change by email. News sites and podcasts then explain them.

Can I ask LetCompliance about my own let?

Yes. Inside the account, the AI advisor answers about your own properties, tenancies and figures, and about the rules, and the question board lets you ask other landlords using LetCompliance. Neither is legal advice.
