Who can send them
An owner, an admin or a manager, about a property they can see; a manager kept to one branch sends about that branch’s properties. A viewer sees no button.
Where the buttons are
On a finished inspection, on a completed repair on the property, on a repair resolved on the Repairs screen, and on a tenant’s notice to leave on the Notices tab.
What the landlord receives
An email from your agency, with replies coming to your contact email. An inspection report is attached as its PDF; one too large to attach is sent as a link that works for 30 days. A completed repair says what was done, when, by whom and what it cost, with the invoices recorded with it. A tenant’s notice gives the leaving date, whether that date may not be valid, and the next steps you tick: arranging the check-out, and asking whether to find a new tenant.
Sending again
Sending the same thing twice asks first, with the date and the address it went to before.
When it cannot be sent
The property must be linked to a landlord client who has an email address. A client marked ended is sent nothing from here. For a let-only or rent-collection client, the check-out starts unticked on a tenant’s notice.
