How do I give a landlord client a portal link?

On the client’s page, press Make portal link on the Landlord portal card, then Send portal link to email it from your agency. The link opens a private, read-only page about the landlord’s properties, with no password, and nothing on it can be changed.

An owner, an admin, or a manager who covers every branch. A manager kept to one branch, and a viewer, see whether a link exists and when it was last opened, but not the link itself, because the page shows the client’s properties in every branch.

What the landlord sees

The properties linked to them (never one matched by email only), who lives in each and the tenancy dates, this month’s rent, the certificate dates, the repairs still open and which of them are waiting for their answer, the statements you have issued with their PDFs, and the signed terms of business. It is not a login: anyone with the link can open it.

What is emailed

A short email from your agency, with replies coming to your contact email, giving the link and saying that anyone who has it can open the page. The card shows when it was emailed, to whom, and how often the page has been opened.

Make a new link stops the old one at once; send the landlord the new one. Switch off stops the link without making another.

Let-only and ended clients

A let-only client collects the rent and arranges repairs themselves, so the portal, which shows this month’s rent and open repairs, is not offered for them. A client marked ended gets no link. A link made before either change stops opening, and can still be switched off.

Where this lives
