How do I give my tenant access to their documents?

Open Tenants and share the portal link for that tenancy. The tenant portal needs no password and no account: the link itself is the key, and it shows them their own documents, requests and rent position.

No account for them, no support burden for you

Asking a tenant to create an account is where tenant portals die. Most never do it, and you end up emailing PDFs anyway. The link works on the first tap, on a phone, with nothing to remember.

What they can see

  • The documents you have sent them
  • Their rent position
  • A way to raise a request, which lands in your tenant inbox with a timestamp

What they cannot see

Anything about your other properties, your other tenants, your finances or your tax. The link is scoped to one tenancy.

Sharing it

Send it however you already talk to them. If you send it by email from inside the product, the send is recorded in the activity log with the time it left, which is worth having if the question ever becomes "were they told".

Where this lives

Tenants.
