When you need to register
The Government published the dates on 9 September 2026. Registration becomes required one region at a time and each region then has three months: West Midlands by 14 March 2027, East of England by 14 April, East Midlands by 14 May, South East by 14 June, Yorkshire and the Humber by 14 July, North West by 14 August, North East by 14 September, London by 14 October and South West by 14 November 2027. The deadline follows where the property is, not where you live, and you can register any property from 15 December 2026.
What the page is for
It shows each property’s deadline and checks the particulars the register asks for: the property details, licensing and your gas, electrical and EPC records. The service also asks for your own details, the rent and any freeholder or property manager.
What to do now
Nothing urgent before 15 December. Keep your property records accurate, and only let properties need registering for now.
