What Alphaletz says
Alphaletz’s home page describes it as ready for Making Tax Digital in 2026, and it keeps income and expense records from your bank feed (checked 6 October 2026).
What HMRC’s list shows
HMRC publishes the software that can send Making Tax Digital for Income Tax updates. Alphaletz is not on it. LetCompliance is: quarterly updates and the tax return for UK property income, with a free version.
What that means for you
Keeping digital records is one half of Making Tax Digital; sending the quarterly updates from compatible software is the other. If your qualifying income brings you in, records kept elsewhere have to reach HMRC through software on the list, so you would need a second product or a bridging tool.
Which to choose
If you are in Making Tax Digital, or will be from April 2027 at over £30,000, LetCompliance keeps the records and sends the updates in one place, free for one property and from £7.99 a month with the rest of the let.
